# OK Alone Website — Positioning and Messaging

> **What this is.** A curated distillation of the public OK Alone website (okaloneworker.com), replacing the raw 1.5 MB scrape `Ok Alone Website.md` (now retired — 80% of that file was repeated navigation, footers and author bios).
>
> **What it is for.** Customer-facing language: what OK Alone is, how it is positioned, the approved marketing lines, the feature vocabulary used with prospects, industries served, and the proof points sales teams quote.
>
> **What it is NOT.** It is not the product specification and not the pricing authority. Where this file disagrees with the Help Center files, `product-reference.md`, `product-reference.md` or `pricing-2026.md`, **those files win.** Much of the website copy dates from 2023–2024, predates the Peoplesafe integration, and uses feature names that have since been retired.

## 1. What OK Alone is

A lone worker safety platform: a smartphone app for workers, a cloud dashboard for monitors, and an optional 24/7 monitoring service. The pitch is deliberately app-first and hardware-light.

**Definition of a lone worker used on the site:**

> "A lone worker is classified as someone who works by themselves without close or direct supervision, where they cannot be seen or heard by another person."

> "a worker that is in isolation from other workers without close or direct supervision. Working alone is not a hazard on its own, but it does present a unique set of challenges."

**Standard descriptor (appears site-wide in the footer and meta description):**

> "Ok Alone's safety monitoring app protects employees and lone workers. It improves worker safety monitoring with location tracking, real-time emergency alerts and lone worker features for staff on a user-friendly smartphone app."

> "Location monitoring with our smartphone app provides complete workforce visibility with a website and cloud-based dashboard that can be used on pc, laptop, tablet or any smartphone."

**Positioning one-liner:**

> "An all-in-one worker check-in, emergency alerting and monitoring solution: Lone worker safety made easy"

### Company facts as stated on the site

- Originally a British Columbia company; the corporate entity behind it appears as **Trusty Ox Systems**.
- **Acquired by Peoplesafe** — announcement page: *"Ok Alone Announces Sale to Personal Safety Technology Leader Peoplesafe Group."*
- Origin story: *"our first customer was in home health care and we've since innovated to expand across a broad range of sectors."*
- Product philosophy: *"Ok Alone believes that the people are the most important asset of any company, that's why they monitor people first, product second."*

**Flexibility framing**

- "There are many ways to use the OK Alone lone worker solution: app, SMS, landline, satellite phone and desktop."

## 3. Feature catalogue

Feature names and descriptions as used in customer-facing copy. **Parameter values below are as published on the website and several contradict each other — see §15. Verify any specific number against the Help Center files before quoting it to a customer.**

### 3.1 Worker-side (the app)

| Feature | Website description |
|---|---|
| **Lone Worker App** | "The free smartphone app allows workers to check-in or request help from anywhere in the world with the tap of a finger." Android and iPhone, "anywhere in the world". |
| **Flexible / automated check-ins** | A countdown timer that reminds the worker to check in. Range given as "15 minutes to 24 hours" on feature pages, "5 minutes to 24 hours" in the FAQ. App sounds an alarm at expiry. |
| **Three ways to check in** | App ("tap the big orange button that says I'm Ok"); SMS (worker ID + the word "Ok", e.g. "37351 ok"); phone call (enter worker ID, then a keypad menu for check in / request help / start or end shift). A fourth route is answering an inbound call from OK Alone. |
| **SMS "status" command** | Replies with how long until the check-in is due, whether the worker is logged in, or that they aren't working today. |
| **Help / Panic Button** | "a large red button with help on it" on the app home screen once a shift has started. Alternatives: SMS with worker ID + "HELP", or phone in and select HELP ("option 0"). Monitors are alerted immediately with the worker's location and escalation procedure. |
| **High risk check-ins** | The worker shortens their own next check-in when entering a higher-risk situation. Increments of 10 minutes; range given as "10 minutes to 60". "Once the shortened cycle is complete, the lone worker system resets to the normal check-in frequency." |
| **Man Down / Worker Down** | Non-movement detection using the worker's own phone sensors. Alerts monitors "if a worker becomes non-responsive over a set period after a slip, trip or fall". The app prompts the worker first "to avoid false alarms", then escalates. Site quotes different ranges: "3 minutes to 1 hour", "1 minute to 1 hour", "usually 5–10 minutes", and workers typically choosing "between 5 minutes and 30 minutes". Positioning line: *"Ok Alone sends for help when an injured person can't."* |
| **Hands-free voice commands** | Siri and Google Assistant shortcuts to open the app, start shift, check in, get help, end shift. Also Amazon Alexa/Echo and Google Home. Siri shortcuts "available since January 2019". |
| **iPhone Back Tap discreet alarm** | "If you have an iPhone 8 or later model you can activate the multi-tap function on the back of your iPhone for a discreet lone worker alarm." Setup: Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap > Double or Triple Tap > Ok Alone Help Button. |
| **Shake to Help** | Android equivalent — shake the phone to raise a help request. |
| **Drive Mode** | "Our Drive mode will automatically check in employees if they are driving. Monitoring will only activate once they leave the vehicle for a delivery or other task." |
| **Location monitoring options** | Three settings: **GPS High** — "continuous data updated every 10 seconds"; **GPS Normal** — "updates a location every 1-2 minutes"; **Non GPS** — "will update the location at regular intervals and maximises battery life". |
| **Background monitoring** | "allows the GPS position of a worker to be accessed without the app having to be open on the phone's screen throughout a worker's shift." |
| **Battery saver options** | Listed as a named app feature. |
| **Check-in notifications / reminder alarms** | "will create a notification and emit a loud alarm (noise of your choice)". Workers without a smartphone can be sent an SMS or receive a phone call instead. |
| **Removing the check-in timer** | The timer can be switched off entirely for some staff: "Workers will still get the same High-Risk Check-ins, Help function, Man Down and Location monitoring available." Benefits given: "No more late night missed alerts / Reduce false missed check in / Get a timer only when the worker needs it / Help button always available / This feature is available at no additional cost". |
| **Desktop and web app** | Progressive web app at `app.okalone.net`, login by PIN, "will work in most modern browsers"; free Windows app via the Microsoft Store. "not reliant on a phone battery". Note: "Javascript is required to run the solution." |
| **Desktop on-screen panic button** | Taskbar icon; "it only takes two clicks of the mouse to access immediate help". Icon states: **green** = live through shift; **orange** = "Five second grace period before request sent"; **red** = "Help Request has been successfully sent"; **red circle with green tick** = "Request has been acknowledged by Monitor and protocol initiated". Framed as discreet: "a discreet means of seeking help without drawing attention to the situation." |
| **Home screen shortcuts** | Long-press the app icon (Android) for start shift / check in / get help / end shift shortcuts. |

### 3.2 Monitor and dashboard side

| Feature | Website description |
|---|---|
| **OK Alone Dashboard** | "secure cloud-based online dashboard", usable "on pc, laptop, tablet or any smartphone". Sections: "Workers, Monitors, Groups, Reports, Management, Settings". Shows status and location of all workers on shift, with a map of last known GPS position when an alert is triggered. |
| **Worker Status** | "See the status of every worker on shift — overdue, high risk, fine." |
| **Worker Actions** | "View historic actions throughout a shift, such as check ins, missed check ins and help alerts. See the response from Monitors to each action." |
| **Safety Zone (geofence)** | "you simply click on the map and then move the slider to increase the coverage area. If the person leaves the safe area, you will receive an email notification and an alert will be created in the online dashboard." |
| **Worker Grouping** | Group by department, team or shift. Bulk-update "Check in frequency / SMS check in alerts / Phone check in alerts / Team monitors". |
| **Group Escalation Procedures** | The same escalation steps applied to everyone in a group. Escalation can be company-wide, group-wide, or individual. |
| **Escalation procedure wizard** | Step-by-step guided build. "single Escalation Procedure for the company AND/OR a unique Escalation Procedure for each Worker". Only monitors can update it. |
| **Alert Loops** | "An Alert Loop is triggered by a lone worker missing a check in or requesting immediate help. It is an automated system that cycles through a set list of Monitors until one of them accepts responsibility for resolving the alert." |
| **Multiple monitors per worker** | "There is no practical limit to the number of Workers you can assign to a Monitor or vice versa." |
| **Real-time status reporting** | The Alerts page shows who was messaged, acknowledgement and resolution. |
| **Notifications to monitors** | "SMS, email, phone call, WhatsApp" — or any combination. Alerts "contain a map and the information required to respond and resolve the situation". |
| **Dashboard links in SMS alerts** | The SMS names who missed a check-in or asked for help and the time, plus "a link you can click that opens your dashboard and allows you to see your worker's profile and escalation procedure on your phone". |
| **Start & End Shift Alerts** | SMS or email if a shift start or end time is missed; "occur 5-30 minutes (time chosen by Monitor)". Requires a Comms plan. |
| **Multiple daily start shift reminders** | More than one per day. Driven by "feedback from a school who had teachers that required reminders". |
| **SMS and phone reminder settings** | "can be set to repeat up to 4 times at desired intervals". Important note from the site: *"The primary purpose of these reminders is to minimize false alarms. The SMS or phone call reminders should all occur before the Monitor Alert is sent (i.e. If the Monitor delay time is 30 minutes, all of the repeating SMS/Phone call reminders should happen prior to the 30 minute mark.)"* |
| **Grace period / monitor delay** | Configurable "from 1 minute to 1 hour". Reminder alarm configurable "from 30 seconds to 1 hour. Apple restricts this feature to 1 minute increments." |
| **Send an SMS to all Lone Workers** | Bulk message, "maximum of 150 characters", "Send to All Workers or Send to Workers on Shift Only". Requires a Comms/SMS plan. |
| **Extended Privacy** | Optional setting — monitors "will only be able to view or edit those workers who are assigned to them". |
| **Reports** | "app usage, actions and alerts triggered, shifts worked, locations, group details, alert loops, timesheets and report scheduling." Log files downloadable by all monitors. |
| **Admin access** | Add and remove workers, contact details, check-in frequency, monitors, groups, escalation procedures, device details, time zones, start/end shift calendar, safety zone allocation. "all free of charge." |
| **Lone Worker Scheduling** | "importing ADP schedules and automatically send reminders to workers". |
| **Automated end-of-shift reminder** | "Ok Alone can be setup to call just before the end of their shift" (when using Automated Calls). |
| **what3words position** | Free on any account, enabled at Settings > what3words. Monitor clicks "Get Location"; alerts then carry the three-word reference alongside the map and Google link. "gives a three meter square plot with its own three word coordinates." |

### 3.3 Engagement — Safety Awards

A gamification layer. Worth knowing because it comes up in retention and adoption conversations.

- Monthly review of each worker's activity, awarding "badges, points and rankings".
- **Report Cards** score each worker "out of 100", factoring "missed check ins, location monitoring, start shift and check in reminders".
- **Certificates** for "the top 10 in either your company, country or the world".
- **Company ranking**: "we take the average of your top 5 workers for the month. To be included in the ranking you must have at least 5 workers with a score higher than 0."
- Eligibility: "a worker must be using the app at least 3 times a week for shifts of 2 hours or more."
- Rankings compare within company, country and world. Named country leaderboards: Canada, UK, US, Australia; "Rest of World" includes New Zealand, Norway, Malaysia, Germany.
- To become a **Safety Champion** a worker must "check in on time with no reminder alerts", "have accurate and frequent GPS location updates", "start shifts on time", and "use the Man Down or high risk features as well as other features".
- Important fairness note: **"Workers are not penalised for using the help/panic button."**
- Optional automatic monthly SMS/email; hashtags "#OkAlone and #LoneWorker".

## 4. How the alert flow is described to customers

1. Worker starts their shift (app, SMS, phone call, or voice command).
2. The countdown timer runs in the background. Before it expires the worker gets an app alarm, and optionally SMS or phone reminders (repeatable up to 4 times).
3. "If this is ignored a second check in alert will sound… This second attempt at contact is to cut down on false alarms."
4. Once the grace period / monitor delay expires, an alert goes to the assigned monitors — "via SMS, email, phone call or WhatsApp" — carrying the worker's phone number, GPS location and escalation procedure.
5. If live monitoring is enabled on the account, the call centre is activated at the same point.
6. Monitors work the escalation procedure until one accepts responsibility (the Alert Loop). "The final step of an internal escalation procedure could be to call the emergency services."
7. Man Down follows the same path once the non-movement grace period expires.

**Speed claim:** "With advanced detection software, the monitor team can be notified in as little as 3 minutes if an employee has not moved."

---

## 5. Live monitoring and the call centre

- "Ok Alone provides a live operator/real person to actively Monitor your team all day, every day." Described elsewhere as "a 24/7 call center" and "our 24/7 control center", staffed by "real people following your instructions 24/7/365 days a year".
- **It is optional and switchable.** "You have full control over the activation of Live Monitoring and Automated Alert Monitoring, allowing you to tailor the service to your needs and significantly reduce costs." / "It's as easy as the flick of a switch to turn it on or off."
- Cost framing: "You control when you want Ok Alone's 24/7 live monitoring, which means you control your costs. Call centre time is expensive." / "Having the flexibility to choose when to use live monitoring means you aren't locked into expensive contracts that overestimate your actual need."
- Typical pattern sold: "You can even monitor your own employees within business hours and switch to Ok Alone live monitoring after-hours" — covering "weekends, holidays, sick days, during meetings or after hours".
- "All operators in the call-centre are provided with your company's escalation procedures to ensure each worker's individual plan is followed."
- Customers choose "of being informed first of missed check-ins, or for them to be managed by our system until your escalation procedure directs us to contact you or emergency services."
- A monitor can be "a security office, direct supervisor or anyone else in your company", in-house or in a call centre; the site also names "a family member" as a possible monitor.
- Separately marketed: **Automated Alert Monitoring** — "we now offer advanced automated alert monitoring to ensure continuous, reliable supervision."

**Check-in procedure guidance the site gives buyers** (useful in discovery conversations): appoint an employee monitor, or use a call centre; always have a back-up contact; and *"Create a code word to identify your lone worker, in case they are attacked and their assailant knows enough to follow the procedure."* For travelling workers, know the destination, ETA, return date and time, mode of travel, and any changes of plan.

Two APIs: "the App API — our API for managing the worker status, as used in the Ok Alone lone worker app, and the Management API for managing your Ok Alone account." Also "a management dashboard developed in Angular which can be added to your system". Named use cases: "hotel management systems, delivery driver monitoring, trucking dispatch systems and crm systems". |

## 8. Benefits language (buyer-facing)

The website's benefit set, used on the homepage and repeated in variants:

| Benefit | Copy |
|---|---|
| Improved Safety | "Ok Alone has a range of features, including real-time GPS tracking and panic buttons, that help keep employees safe and secure when working alone." |
| Reduced Costs | "By reducing the likelihood of accidents, injuries, and incidents, businesses can save money on insurance and compensation claims." |
| Peace of Mind | "Employees who work alone can feel vulnerable and isolated. Using our lone worker solution can provide peace of mind, knowing that help is always available if needed." |
| Increased Productivity | "When employees feel safe and secure, they are more productive. Ok Alone helps reduce stress and anxiety, allowing employees to focus on their work." |
| Improved Communication | "Ok Alone provides a full audit-trail of actions between employees and their supervisors, ensuring that any issues or concerns can be addressed quickly and efficiently." |
| Enhanced Reputation | "By prioritizing the safety and well-being of their employees, businesses can enhance their reputation as a responsible and caring employer." |
| Quick Access to Emergency Assistance | "In the event of an incident or emergency, our lone worker app provides quick and easy access to emergency assistance." |
| Incident Reporting | "Ok Alone allows employees to report incidents easily and quickly. This can help businesses identify potential risks and improve safety procedures." |
| Customisable Settings | A "tailored solution" per worker, group and risk level. |

Additional value arguments used:

- **Speed of response** — "can reduce the notification time of an injury to mere minutes, and could mean the difference between life or death for someone on their own."
- **Admin time back** — "in some larger companies managers can spend over three hours a day doing admin"; automating clock-ins, shift ends, locations and rotas gives "managers back their time".
- **Replacing manual process** — "Move from manual to automated safety monitoring", removing "paper or phone call-based systems"; "no more need for a supervisor to check on worker safety repeatedly".
- **No hardware burden** — "Some lone worker systems involve using expensive, cumbersome external equipment that needs to be carried around all shift, this is not ideal… Lone worker apps, however, offer remote workers the necessary safety equipment with the ease of adding it to the technology they already have with them."
- **Fewer false alarms than wearables** — accelerometer-based fall detection "can often result in frequent false alarms"; "The worker down detection algorithms that sense movement or the lack of movement are more reliable."
- **Home care specifics** — "Having information on how long each visit lasts reduces stress on staff, while allowing companies to optimise the number of visits per day."
- **Inclusive naming** — "Man Down is some of us, Worker Down is everyone."

## 9. Proof points

**Use with care.** Several of these are inconsistent between pages (see §15) and some are years old. Check before quoting.

**App store ratings** — the site gives conflicting figures:

- "Apple App Store Rating 4.6 out of 5" (one page) — and "4.6 based on 12 votes" in the iPhone listing schema
- "Android Play Store Rating 4.0 out of 5" — and "Aggregate Rating 4 based on 23 votes" in the Android schema
- Elsewhere "4.6 out of 5" is attributed to the **Android** Play Store, and a "5/5" badge appears on the "#1 Rated Lone Worker App" block
- Windows listing schema: "5 based on 1 votes"

**Commercial**

- "99.2% OF CUSTOMER RENEW WITH OK ALONE EVERY MONTH!" (stated twice)
- "trusted by thousands of users all over the globe"
- "Ok Alone is trusted by FP500 companies, SMBs and Charities"

**Third-party statistics cited on the site** (all attributed to their original sources — verify before reuse): HSE fatal injury rates by industry (agriculture/forestry/fishing "around 20 times higher" than average, waste and recycling "17 times as high", construction "around 4 times", manufacturing and transport "around 1.5 and 2 times"); "over 42% of deaths were caused by being struck by a moving object, trapped by something collapsing/overturning or having contact with moving machinery"; "There are around 8 million lone workers in the U.K."; RCN and NHS Protect health-sector figures; IOSH survey of 2,152 employees; TalentLMS gamification survey (526 respondents); "nearly 80% of major companies now use employee monitoring" (Insightful).

## 10. Pricing as stated on the website

> ⚠️ **`pricing-2026.md` is the pricing authority — not this file.** The figures below are what the public website said and they contradict each other. Never quote a price from this file to a customer.

- "With no set-up fees or long-term contracts, you can be up and running for as little as **$8/£7 per worker per month**." (the most common figure, appears on several pages)
- One page instead says: "monthly subscriptions start from as little as **$5.00/£4.00 per month per employee**."

> **Note on the currency symbols.** The source scrape stripped every non-ASCII character, so both figures appear there as "$8/7" and "$5.00/4.00" with no second symbol. The **£** above is an inference from OK Alone's USD/GBP dual pricing, not something the scrape confirms. Another reason to take pricing from `pricing-2026.md` rather than here.
- "Volume discounts apply and prices go down as you add more than 30 workers."
- "The subscription includes the smartphone apps, your online account, email alerts, activity logs and performance reporting."
- The apps themselves are free — every app store listing shows "Price CAD 0".
- **Free trial:** "Get free access to the whole Ok Alone system for 7 days." "No payment details are required and you can be up and running in a few minutes" / "no credit card required unless you decide to proceed."
- **No lock-in:** "There is no upfront investment or long term contract required as accounts run month to month." "You renew your subscription each month." "You are not locked into long term agreements."
- **Billing:** "Payments are made by credit card through our secure payment gateway." "Subscription fees are taken on the monthly renewal date of when you first signed up… (i.e. If you signed up on March 9, you will be charged on the 9th of each subsequent month). If there are additional charges or overages, these may be charged separately."
- **Add-ons:** SMS and call volumes need a **Comms plan** — "you can easily add this to your plan in the account area". A Comms plan gates bulk SMS to all workers and start/end shift reminders.
- **Live monitoring** is billed separately and can be toggled off to save cost.
- **Pricing Calculator / estimator** on the site gives "a customized quote in minutes"; "Other services and larger subscriptions are available by request."
- **Free for charity fundraisers** — the "Special Event Safety Program": start a standard free trial, then email support "and we'll make sure no invoice is generated for your use of the system". "Most people are up and running in 10 minutes or less."

**Onboarding, as the site describes it:** (1) start a free trial via the form, (2) log in to the dashboard, (3) download the app and enter the unique PIN sent by SMS, (4) send a test help request — the monitor is alerted by email and SMS, (5) review and resolve the alert. Set-up wizards are available "when you click the gear icon in the top right corner", and there is a Feature Request form in the online Help section.

## 13. Site structure

Main sections: **Home · Features · Lone Worker Integrations · Pricing Calculator · Free Trial · FAQs (About Ok Alone / The Website / Payment) · Blog & Learning Center · Author pages · Competitor comparison pages · Legislation-by-jurisdiction pages.**

Two gated lead magnets: the **Lone Worker App Comparison Guide** (scores options on "Safety Policy, Ease of use, Location tracking, Cost, Management control" using "the traffic light system") and the **Lone Worker App Safety Monitoring Risk Assessment Guide**.

There are also many per-jurisdiction legislation pages — UK, Ireland, Canadian provinces and territories, Australian states, and US states and cities (Washington State, Illinois S.B. 75, New Jersey S.2986, California heat-illness regulations, Seattle, Santa Monica, Sacramento, Miami Beach). **Treat these as marketing content, not legal advice** — see §14.

## 14. ⚠️ Compliance-flavoured claims — DO NOT REPEAT AS FACT

The website makes a large number of claims about legal obligations, compliance and regulatory requirements. **The product expert's hard limits forbid repeating these.** They are recorded here so they can be recognised and reframed, not so they can be reused.

**Claims that OK Alone delivers compliance:**

- "Legal Compliance — Employers have a duty of care to protect their employees, and failure to do so can result in legal action. By using Ok Alone, businesses can ensure they are meeting their legal obligations."
- "Demonstrate Compliance — Be assured you are following regulatory compliance and lone worker legislation & policy."
- "Meet Compliance — Fulfil your legal obligations and duty of care to your workers."
- "Enterprise Features — Let Ok Alone help your large organization comply with duty of care regulations."
- "we provide an affordable solution that keeps their lone workers safe, protects their privacy and ensures their company follows safety legislation."
- "Compliance — Lone worker monitoring can help businesses comply with health and safety regulations, reducing the risk of fines and legal action."
- "Are you affected by work alone regulations and want to be certain your lone workers are safe?"

**Claims that a feature is legally required:**

- "An automated countdown timer, **as required by work alone legislation and the duty of care**, will remind an employee to check in…" (this phrasing appears on several pages)
- "By legislation in the UK and in many Canadian provinces, lone workers must be monitored for safety reasons."
- "In many countries such as Canada, the UK, USA, and many parts of Europe an employer has a legal duty and must provide some level of lone worker protection."
- "In a lot of countries, states and provinces having a lone worker device for staff is a legal obligation for employers."
- "WorksafeBC requires employers to have a system in place that checks on the safety of people working on their own or in isolation."

**Customer quotes making regulatory claims:**

- "Ok Alone provides us with an effective and economical solution to meet lone worker regulatory requirements." (Nadine Odendaal, Bee-clean)
- "this was the most cost effective method that met Worksafe BC's mandate." (PNGI)

**How to handle these instead:** describe what the product *does* (audit trail, escalation records, reporting, configurable check-in intervals) and let the customer's own compliance team decide whether that satisfies their obligations. Redirect regulatory questions: *"That's a compliance question — worth checking with the compliance team or the compliance assistant."*

**Worth noting:** the website makes **no** explicit security-certification claims. There is no "GDPR compliant", ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, SOC 2, uptime SLA or encryption claim anywhere on the marketing site. GDPR and BS 8484 appear only as blog article titles. For anything in that territory, use `okalone-compliance` / the compliance assistant.

## 15. Known contradictions and staleness

Flag these rather than picking one silently.

| Topic | The conflict |
|---|---|
| **Price** | "$8/£7 per worker per month" on most pages vs "$5.00/£4.00 per month per employee" on another — and the second currency symbol is inferred, not scraped (see §10). → Use `pricing-2026.md`. |
| **Stripped characters throughout** | The scrape lost all apostrophes, £/€ symbols and other non-ASCII. Apostrophes have been restored in the quotes above; any other unusual gap in a quoted line is likely a lost character, not the original copy. |
| **Check-in range** | "15 minutes to 24 hours" on feature pages vs "5 minutes to 24 hours" in the FAQ. |
| **High-risk check-in range** | "10 minute increments" and "as little as 10 minutes or as long as 60" vs a generic "10 minutes to 60". |
| **Man Down range** | "3 minutes to 1 hour" vs "1 minute – 1 hour" vs "usually 5–10 minutes" vs "between 5 minutes and 30 minutes". |
| **App ratings** | 4.6/5 attributed to Apple on one page and to Android on another; 4.0/5 also given for Android; schema data says 4 (23 votes) Android and 4.6 (12 votes) iPhone. |
| **Windows listing metadata** | The Windows app review block reads "Software Name Ok Alone Lone Worker App for Android / Operating System Windows" — a site error. |
| **Improved Communication** | Described as "a full audit-trail of actions" in one place and "two-way communication between employees and their supervisors" in another. |
| **Overall vintage** | Page "Last Updated" dates cluster in 2023 and early 2024. The site predates the Peoplesafe integration, the Alert Zone Intelligence / OSHA Heat Zones renaming, Fall Detection (iOS), Microsoft SSO enhancements, Team Broadcast and the other May 2026 releases. It also uses US spellings and North-American-centric framing throughout. |
| **Naming** | The site uses "Man Down" and "Worker Down" interchangeably, and knows nothing of the July 2026 renaming of Threat Intelligence → **Alert Zone Intelligence** and Heat Threat Zones → **OSHA Heat Zones**. Always answer with the current names. |
